Marriage of Inconvenience
Contemporary Romance by: Penny Reid

If you haven’t discovered Penny Reid yet you are missing out. If you like smart women who can take care of things with a sprinkling of issues impacting the world you will love her Knitting in the City series. The series is about friends who are in a knitting group. They are each lively and real.
The last book in the knitting series, Marriage of Inconvenience, lives up to Reid’s reputation of quick paced, fun, and intriguing romance. As you can imagine by the title, there is a marriage of convenience plot involved. Heiress Kat enters into a marriage with Dan O’Malley a powerful man in his own right.
While they once were almost an item, and even had a one night stand, there was a misunderstanding and they had essentially been avoiding each other. A twist of fate in Kat’s life brings them together in their marriage of inconvenience.
With real characters and current news situations (think infuriating situations in the pharmaceutical industry) combined with Reid’s witty writing and dialogue, this book is a must read.
